Paint Repair Technician - Tampa

As a Paint Repair Technician, you will perform paint repairs using trained techniques and various tools on our clients’ vehicles. This role will report to assigned routes and established accounts on a daily basis to service all repairs in a timely and effective manner. In this role, your compensation is directly related to how hard you work. The more effort you put in, the more you’ll earn. (Uncapped commission potential – Full sales support – no prospecting required)


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Travel to client sites to perform various paint services including:
    • Bumper repair
    • Minor collision repair
    • Scratch repair
    • Buffing
    • Pin-striping
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships
  • Complete reporting and invoicing daily through company provided technologies
  • Effectively communicate with clients regarding current projects and upcoming needs identified via daily inventory reviews  
  • Partner with additional departments as applicable to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain provided company vehicle, tools, and additional equipment per company standards


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED)
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to sit, bend, squat, and hold various positions for long periods of time
  • Successfully complete pre-employment drug and background screening
  • Attend mandatory eight-week Technician Training in Charlotte, NC (lodging provided for out of state trainees)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Post high school training and/or education
  • At least one year of automotive painting experience
  • At least one year of painting experience
  • At least one year of customer service experience
